Dear Cardinals,
It is an exciting time to be a Saint Richard Cardinal! Our first ever Open House on the New Campus is January 26th and it is also the kick off to Catholic School's Week. We hope you'll join us for StR School Sunday Mass at 10:30am, and then we can all head over to the new campus for self-guided tours, snacks, and celebration. We kindly ask that students wear their uniforms and parents wear red in support of the school. Current families, prospective families, the ELC and the parish are all invited. We are so excited about this day!
It's not too late to sign up for Spring CASA Classes. Starting this coming week: Manners Matters and Mini Chefs! Visit our website to register today! USTA Tennis starts Feb.10th and there are still spots available.
It looks like cold weather next week. Students may wear winter coats outside. Inside the building, students are permitted to wear sweaters, jackets and sweatshirts that are either St. Richard or St. Joseph attire.
Krewe de Cardinal is less than a month away! Today is the final day to book a hotel room at the Westin at our discounted rate.
Reminder that re-enrollment for the 2025-26 school year begins February 1st. More information regarding our transition to Continuous Enrollment can be found on our website: click here. Please reach out to Sarah Nasif ( [email protected] | 601-366-1157) with any questions.
Lastly, please review these important school safety reminders:
- Visitors must come through the front lobby and check in with the front office.
- Parents are only allowed to enter a classrooms if they have a scheduled meeting or activity that has been arranged by the teacher. This is to protect the student's instructional time and to ensure we are maintaining safety protocols.
- Parents are welcome to eat lunch with their students. They must get a visitor sticker from the lobby and go straight to the cafeteria. Please do not go to your student's classroom before or after lunch. Please communicate with your teacher ahead of time if you plan to come to lunch with your student.
