About Catherine

I am a proud fighting okra/Statesman with Delta roots that go farther back than my years at Delta State University. I graduated from DSU with an undergraduate degree in English literature and later, through the Master of Arts in Teaching program, received my master’s degree in education. I have been at St. Richard since 2012 and currently serve as the coordinator of religious education. I am forever grateful for my time at St. Richard; it has brought more joy to my life than I ever imagined. That joy is what makes our school a place I can call home.

I have lots of favorite things about StR, but one of them is our weekly school Mass. I’m so proud of the leadership roles our students take in worship each week and feel blessed to witness their service to our church and school community every Wednesday.
